 What is Reiki?

The word Reiki is composed of Rei und Ki. The Japanese word Rei symbolises spirit and the word Ki means life energy, similar to Chi and Prana. There are many forms of Reiki, because the word Reiki in itself just means spiritual energy and has different terms in different cultural traditions.
I am attuned to the Usui Reiki Ryoho, named after its founder Dr. Mikao Usui in Japan. Doing so I hold my hands in various positions over and on your body and let universal energy flow to you. Luckily, energy knows no boundaries, so Reiki can also reach you over distance.

 

 How does Reiki feel like?

Reiki interacts with all levels of your body: on the physical level as well as on the mental-emotional and spiritual levels of your body. What kind of effect Reiki will have on you, is someone know one can tell you in advance. Most people feel very relaxed during and after a Reiki session, some feel different body parts very intensely, some hear sounds or see images, some just fall asleep. Reiki always works in your favour and affects you the way that is best for you.
It doesn't make a difference if you get a Reiki in person or over distance.

I specialize in long distance Reiki. It has the advantage of the comfort of your home and can be booked on short notice. We can arrange a time that is best for you and you just have to find a quiet spot and enjoy.
I also do in person Reiki sessions. Depending on your personal topic, you will sit on a comfy chair or lie down on a massage table to receive Reiki. In person sessions usually start with a bit of Breathwork.

 

 How to book a Reiki session?
